Goalkeeper

Guglielmo Vicario (Spurs): Despite finishing on the losing side versus Chelsea, his teammates left him exposed. He faced 18 shots, nine directed at goal, and an xG of 3.36 for the visitors yet he kept them in it. He stood firm on his team.

Defenders

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): This youngster is frightening. Usually a midfield engine, he slots in brilliantly at full-back. His display in the win over Bournemouth stood out, establishing him as a future star.

Gabriel (Arsenal): A constant menace, he contributed to a further shutout for Arsenal. He remains a handful from dead-ball situations, just being there was decisive in the win at Burnley. Rival teams clearly fear him.

Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham): Selected for a couple of factors: West Ham's win and his measured, confident display. While the Magpies underperformed, he stood out on the ball and settled the play. Following a few uncertain weeks, he seems to have improved under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham): He ignited the team in the victory over Wolves. Outstanding in attack and consistent throughout the term, he has added goals to his game. Great to see him fit and performing.

Midfielders

Moises Caicedo (the Blues): The sole engine no one can dispute. Absolutely pivotal for his club, he was the top tackler. An energizer, he drives everyone forward. Arguably the finest defensive mid in the game.

Declan Rice (Arsenal): Another pivotal display against Burnley. An absolute beast, he netted and shines from dead balls. As they face weaker opponents, he recovers stamina and executes forward surges. Crucial to see him let loose.

Ryan Gravenberch (the Reds): He pushed forward, getting a goal versus a struggling Aston Villa team. His ability to dictate play on and off the ball, plus his vision and tackling, rendered him key to the win.

Attack

Diego Gomez (Brighton): He scored a brace versus United, but his style was graceful gliding past defenders. Running quickly and strongly, he edged out fellow attacker Danny Welbeck for this spot.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City): What else is there to say about this phenomenon? Each occasion he broke through, you expected a score. He never looked like missing. The King has returned. Despite summer talk about other strikers, the Norwegian reigns supreme. He could break goal tallies this season.

Rayan Cherki (Manchester City): Operating as a right winger is his ideal role. Incredibly ambidextrous, a rarity like Santi Cazorla. He takes set-pieces equally well. A skilled footballer, he appears fit post-recovery. His link-up with Haaland is clearly a key reason for his acquisition.

Gaffer

Nuno Espirito Santo (the Hammers): If you missed it, check out the way he celebrated their third versus Newcastle. That shows how much it matters to him and the squad. He's aware they are under pressure, but they need to get through and secure results.
