Vinted Members Express Frustration Regarding Sizing Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with other platforms.
They have suggested members to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Earlier, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
