The Monarch Wants Andrew to Relinquish Naval Rank, Official Says
Defense authorities is actively proceeding to strip Andrew Mountbatten Windsor remaining ceremonial military position following the direction of King Charles, the official has declared.
The minister confirmed King Charles had "expressed his desire for this outcome".
Prince Andrew, who was lost his title as a prince on this past week, kept his Vice Admiral position in the UK naval forces after giving up his other military positions in two years ago.
"This is the correct course of action, the Monarch has signaled we should proceed with this and this is being handled presently," the official told the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.
