Passionate fans of the actress are calling for that a person who jumped a fence and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing photographers and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a promenade flanked by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though official papers indicated that he was due to appear on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last year.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Past Trauma

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further message on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded digital services to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande seemed shocked when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore mall, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the popular stage production Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected friendship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of last year in the UK, and earned ten Oscar nominations, securing several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
