In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
